Latest tracks by FlamezBond
So as you can tell, I'm not playing around. I GOT BEATS. So, if you really want to make some good songs on great original production, just hit me up. I'm not hard to reach and I ready to do business whenever you are.
Anyways I'm working on my album now. Which is gonna be more like a compilation of SELECT artists that I want to feature on my production. I'm in the beginning stages of it but its coming along. "Oh Shit Get It" is a promotional track that I released to give my audience a sample of whats to come. As you can tell, this track was designed to make women shake their asses in the club, which is always a good thing. I'm about to take off with my production so you could hop on the bandwagon now or later. The point is, you'll eventually be on the bandwagon. You can download "Oh Shit Get It" right off of my soundcloud and bump that shit in your Ipod, Android phone or in your whip on a CD. I'm always open to criticism too. I prefer the  negative comments over the positive ones. Go figure

I Wanna Go (Bond Mix) - Britney Spears

& I are following each other on twitter. So with that being said, a friend () gave me the great idea to do a mix to one of her songs so I went ahead and did that. It was madd fun on top of it all, I got to expand my horizons as far as producing is concerned. I want to be able to produce a track for any genre of music. I certainly do not want to limit myself and this is a way of achieving that.

Interesting...

Yeah so I completed a month of consistent blogging. Even though I intend to keep it that way, my content will improve with time and experience. I can guarantee that. And to start implementing that, I would like to introduce the C String. Yes, I have seen a woman wearing this in the physical and it is remarkable to say the least. It definitely adds shock value as well as an unexpected surprise for anyone who may happen to see you in your unmentionables. Now, if you ladies are looking to step your cookies up a few notches, then this is a way to do just that. And fellas, if you're looking for a sexy gift then this is that. Just be sure to include something else with it. You know, a card, maybe a new fragrance or her favorite chocolate or a combination of shit. Just be sure to include something else, I can't stress that enough. It will show that you actually care and put some thought into it. Not that you ran out to buy her some new drawz you wanna see her in, only to take them off of her. Don't be that much of an asshole, asshole.

"Gaga is my girl!"

Are you kidding me?? I gotta give Gaga (pardon me, I meant Joe) props on surprising everyone though. Even me. I thought she would of came dressed as a vagina but no, she came dressed as Joe #welldone. She's a marketing genius. And she's crazy.

I can't say enough about this video right here. Besides the fact that she is attractive as hell, whats even more attractive is the things that comes out of her pretty little mouth. Its so unrehearsed and passionate, you can tell she really feels what she is saying through the whole video. Some of you females can learn a thing or two from her.

Sue The Throne

Do not be misconstrued. This post isn't to glorify these two. It also isn't to speculate or breakdown whether or not they are affiliated with the illuminati. Opinions are like yesterdays and everyone has one. Either you can be aware of the possibility or you can be naive and subscribe to the 'ignorance is bliss' party. Either way, this is about copyright infringement and producing.
Apparently the last track on the deluxe version of The Throne's (Jay-Z and Kanye) album 'The Joy' featured a sample that was not cleared properly. Of course they got the bread to clear the shit. This just reinforces when business isn't conducted properly, there will be a consequence. No matter who the hell you may be.
Syl Johnson, who is singer Syleena Johnson's father (who sang on 'All Falls Down' by Kanye), is eventually gonna sue them for infringing his 1967 song 'Different Strokes.' That is before Kanye & Jay go ahead and settle it outside of court. Trust me, they don't want the controversy of going to court over shit like this. They will settle and most likely give Johnson what he deserves for the sample clearance and then some just to be courteous.
Aside from that, this is why I'm moving away from sampling. Its becoming more of a liability than an asset for artists. Not necessarily for producers though. If I make 1,000 sampled beats and no one never uses or buys them, I'm not breaking the law. Its copyright infringement when you make a song to a sampled beat and attempt to sell and market it commercially (radio, TV, etc). This is what ASCAP is in business for. They track these things.
I'm moving away from sampling because of the hassle that the artist may encounter. If they are backed by a label, then they are backed by the labels finances to clear a sample. Local artists on the other hand is different. My leasing and exclusive rights contracts state that Flamez Bond & Covert Ent is not responsible for any or all sample clearances that may have been used but of course, clients are notified if the beat they want to lease or buy contains a sample. Besides, I prefer to make beats from scratch and build them up. Its way more creative and gratifying at the end of it all because its 100% original and its something no one has ever heard before
To wrap this up, the whole sampling thing is a part of hip hop. Taking something old and making it new or 'hip.' Sampling is also fun and it gives a nice sound to any track but you gotta make sure you take care of business right or business will take care you.

Throwback

This is me from 08 at @Lava330's spot chilling with other talented artists as usual. Lava had just got the camera on deck so I did a lil freestyle and whatnot. This was me just having some fun, I wasn't really trying to go in or nothing like that but check it out, let me know what you think.

It's Lava!

This is Connecticuts own, Jaylava (follow him @Lava330). But yeah, pretty much this is a quick freestyle for CT and thats it. Nothing too crazy here even though it does get crazy, just not this time around. Shoutout to Lava too. He gonna go far in this music business because of his marketability. He could sell sand to Arabs. Together we are Empire and we represent CT the way it should be repped. We are both consistent and we're both monsters.
Like I said before, follow him on twitter and check out his videos on the tube

Pilot

I was just had a crazy flashback. Well it was sparked by me coming across this chick I used to mess with a while ago. For the sake of controversy, I'll refer to her as Vanessa.
How I met Vanessa? She was locked up for a year and some change and her family lived near me so naturally when she came home, she literally came home to her family. I knew of her sister but her sister was type young so I didn't even want to know the sister like that. But when I met Vanessa, we instantly clicked. I was outside writing some bars for this track and I spit it for her and it was a wrap from there. So I got her number and whatnot and she used to like to call me out to my back porch so we can sit and talk face to face. That was cool and shit but I started noticing she was kinda.. crazy.
She told me she got locked up for cutting a bitch up with a can opener or some shit. It was surprising being that she was petite. She wasn't all that thick how I like them but she did have some large breasts and she was a cutie.
So one night around 11:30 pm she hit me up and asked me if I wanted to smoke. We got up, burned it down, had a drink or two and some laughs. Then she got all up in my airspace. She whispered in my ear 'I want you.' That was all I needed to hear. I started kissing, licking & sucking on her neck and grabbing them big tits.
Long story short, I got in that ass. I'll spare you the details.. This time around. Lol

The Flashback Series

I figured how to go about sharing things from the past with my audience. I'm going to do it by doing short 'flashbacks' about certain areas of my life and my experiences. I think it will be fun and challenging for me at times because I personally have flashbacks all the time. And not all of them are good ones quite frankly.
I also feel this is a way to establish connections with my audience because I may write a flashback that you can somewhat or exactly relate to. Eventually I'll come up with other series which will add variety but I'll cross that bridge when I arrive at it.
I'm working on my first flashback entry and I expect to have it finished and posted sometime tomorrow. Quite possibly even tonight but I doubt it because I'm gonna hit up the studio in a little bit and as bad as it sounds, I'm not planning on being sober tonight. Now I know a lot of you can relate to that and if you can't, that's fine too. Have a great weekend and be safe.

Something #special

My blog would not be my blog without some ass and/or titties sprinkled here and there. That's just how it is and how it will be. But I'm not gonna be on no pornographic type shit. I wanna keep it at least work-safe.
So with that being said, if you find yourself offended by this, I automatically know a few things
  1. You either have a flat, nasty, ugly, stankin, or generally unattractive ass
  2. It can be a combination of all the aforementioned things
  3. You can't do a split while giving a slight grin, making it look easy
  4. You're a hater and not a congratulator
  5. You probably thought about doing something to enhance your ass. And rightfully so

You are stupid #3words

So I'm on twitter this morning and I seen that #3words was still trending so being that it was 8am and I was heading to work I put 'Next stop, Starbucks #3words.' Tell me why this asshole (The assholes name is @Dre_YNR) is gonna tell me that Starbucks is NOT one word. Now a friend of mine (@boozerchannel) made the argument that Starbucks is not even a word which is a technicality but it is debatable as well as respectable & valid. Yes Starbucks is a proper noun but its debatable as to if it is a word or not.
Now back to this asshole. I had to break it down to him that 'star' and 'bucks' are two words respectively but Starbucks is indeed one word. He continued to further argue that its not one word. Even when a bunch of random sexy chicks jumped in a told his stupid ass, he was remained firm on his stance. So at the end of it all, I have concluded that this guy clearly doesn't know what the hell he was talking about or he was looking to make something so little a huge issue. Either way it made for great entertainment this morning

King of Neo Soul

I don't know if its because of the rainy weather out here in Connecticut or because I was laid up for part of the weekend with this shorty but damn, I just felt like hearing some smooth shit this evening. This is a track I was bumpin long before the King passed (RIP) and before I was making beats myself.
Once again, those beautiful electric piano chords is what really moves this track along. The producer of this beat really gave it a relaxed, exotic feel. Everything about this song is perfect in my opinion & has serious replay value. Enjoy.

Smooth

This is music I can really appreciate. This is so mellow and jazzy. You cant go wrong. You can dance, drink, smoke and/or fuck to this track. I have a thing for that warm Neo Soul vibe with the Rhodes/electric piano. When you listen to this, close your eyes and zone out. Enjoy

Stuntin Like My Caddy??

Mr Steve Williams. I know there are a million bloggers out there going in on this guy about what he did or didn't do. I'm just putting in my little two cents. Plus I needed a topic to write about.
Let me say this first, I am a Tiger fan. I even used to buy his games at a point in time where I considered myself a gamer. I've always liked Tigers demeanor and the way he responds to people; always saying less than necessary, like myself.
With all that being said, I do feel that Tiger shitted on his caddy. I just feel that the timing was all wrong. Tiger could have let Steve go a long ass time ago when he got exposed in that scandal. On some real shit, Williams could have quit on him a long ass time ago. Could have left Tiger alone because he didn't want to deal with all the controversy & shit but he stayed loyal, through the thick and the thin. As I reiterate, the timing was just all wrong. Why not let him ride out and let him go during the off-season? If not for Steve, then why not for the sake of continuity? A lot of shit has changed in Tigers life as of late. He's no longer number 1, he's no longer a threat, he's not married, he changed his swing and etc. Why not just let Steve hang in there like he's been doing? I guess my issue with Tiger is that he fired Williams as if he was part of the problem and not the solution.
I say all of that to say this, yes Steve used poor judgement when he was interviewed after the golfer he now works for won the tournament that Tiger was also in. Steve called it "the best win I've ever had" which takes away some of the shine from his employer Adam Scott who just beat everyone's ass. It also says that he was really bitter and there was a lot of animosity over what Tiger did and rightfully so. But you're not supposed to broadcast shit like that. Thinking it is one thing but speaking on it is another and we all know that. Its similar to Favre wanting to go back and beat Green Bay for the way they did him. We all know that's what he wanted deep down inside but for him to speak on it or admit it in such a way, would have been unsavory.
I like how Tiger took the high road though by basically saying Steve's a grown ass man and he said what he felt. Steve should have went ahead and did the same but he did not. At the end of the day, no one really gives a flying frosty fuck. They are both rich (one significantly more rich than the other) and they will both go on with their lives. So will I.

FLAMEZ BOND FREESTYLE

This video was from last weekend doing a show out in Waterbury, Connnecticut at a club named "Bobby Allens." There was a lot of talent around and I was surprised by a lot of what I saw & heard. But if anyone saw and heard what is on this video LIVE, you would probably call me the 'King of CT,' if there is even one that does exist.
If people did call me the 'King' I wouldnt adopt or shout that shit. I really wouldnt. I dont want to be the 'King,' I want to be the guy that music fans can depend on. When they do not want to be let down by some Connecticut artist that they are taking a risk on wasting 2 to 10 minutes of their precious time to listen to.
So with that being said when I went in on this freestyle, I said 'fuck it,' I'm about to show off. And thats exactly what I did.
The only fucked up part about it is that it was already 2am so it was dark as hell and the phone was basically dead so in the middle of recording, the flash or 'torch' cut off on me but it didnt matter, I still had to deliver. I know you may not be able to see me or anyone that was out there that well, but all you really have to do is listen. You'll hear them shouting Flamez Bond

When you get a reaction like this from a crowd, that pretty much says it all without saying a thing

Slutty Slut Sluts

Would you like to hear (or read rather) some funny shit? Well I was at the studio this weekend. It was about 8 or 9 pm and shit when I received a text message that read 'hey mike, if you still want some head, come thru.' Right away, I bust out laughing at first. I didn't know the number but I seen it was a 203 number which is my area code so I was thinking 'this is a local whore.'
So being the asshole I am, I play along and I texted her back 'hell yea, just let me know when' & she immediately replied she was on her way home. Being that I was not 'Mike' I didn't have all the details and such. I pretty much didn't know what the hell was going on so I started sending her general messages concerning dick sucking like 'are you gonna swallow it all?' And 'I can't wait to have my dick in your mouth' and letting everyone around read the slutty responses I was getting back.
After about 45 minutes of bullshitting with this whore and having some good ass laughs, I went ahead and told her straight up 'look, I'm not Mike and I don't know who the hell he is, I was just having some fun' and she took it pretty well texting me back 'omg, lol, hahaha' and shit like that. So I took the opportunity to promote myself, if anything. I mean I would take some head too but then again, she seems to casually suck Mike off and lord knows who else so I did caution myself. I sent her a text that said 'you can follow me on twitter @FlamezBond tho! Holla at your boy!' I'm sure she checked me out on twitter just to see what I looked like but I knew she wouldn't reveal herself at all (or at least not this early). The funniest part is that she still continued to text me. After she found out I was not 'Mike.' This happened on Friday night. What made me write about it today (Sunday) is that she texted me an hour ago saying 'whats up' on some casual friend shit. Wowsers! Like I always said, the whores will be whores. You just can't make this stuff up.
The moral of the story is, know who you're texting at all times. Especially if you're a whore and you like to give head cause an asshole like me will have you looking like a damn fool.

AIN'T NO (PREVIEW)

AIN'T NO (PREVIEW) by FlamezBond

This here is the most recent beat I have sampled. Its that old soul joint "Ain't No Sunshine." Yes, instant classic and yes, its been sampled many times before. But I sampled it because it was the feeling I got when I heard it but its not a big deal. If anything it was just good ass practice for me being that I can make a sick sampled beat without owning a MPC.
So with that being said, I already know once I upgrade my shit, I know my beats will start going platinum because I simply know what sounds good when it comes to music. Whether or not you like it, is your opinion and I'm OK with that. But if you're gonna slander my shit and say its 'garbage,' 'trash' or anything else synonymous to those, then I would know you are not only a hater but you're a liar and a hater. Also which is never a good thing.
Otherwise, this beat is not complete. I made it a 24 for anyone who wanted to freestyle to it real quick and have some fun. Holla @ me on SoundCloud to check out other beats I've produced.

One of my latest beats "SAFE"

SAFE by FlamezBond
This is one of my most recent beats. I haven't been producing that long quite honestly but when you have natural talent and a good ear, it comes along rather quickly. In September, it will be officially a year that I have been  making beats so it will feel good but all the beats I am making now is nothing compared to what I'm gonna be making in the future, trust me. I'm already on the right path and there's nowhere to go for me but up.
With that being said, I don't want you to think of me as cocky because I'm pretty much the opposite of that and people who know me pretty well are usually telling me to STOP being so damn humble & modest but that's just me really.
Anyways, this beats consist of some really nice chords that I composed. I want to not only be able to sample some ill shit but I also want to be able to compose and say I created or built some shit from the ground up. I look at as an artist who takes a blank canvas and then transforms it into something marvelous. As a painter, that feeling must be amazing.
You'll find out that my style of production features a lot of percussion or "noises in the background" that work together in unison as a team. I like one percussion to complement the next and the one after that to complement them both. Its something that Timbaland does a lot and before I started producing, I admired shit like that and still do.
On the hook part I have this string that comes in so lovely and it complements the chord progression. This beat is made for a singer or it can have a rapper on it who features a singer. The singer can even have his/her own solo. The possibilities are endless.
This beat IS NOT finalized, or at least this version on my blog isn't. I revise a lot of beats days, weeks or months after if no one leases it or buys the exclusive rights. So the one on my hard drive could be slightly or dramatically different.
In conclusion, I posted one of my original "original" beats up here first to show I am a producer and not just a sampler (not taking nothing away from those who came before me and who will come after me). I will post some sampled shit up here soon because my sampled beats are crazy for the most part. Please, enjoy the beat and TURN IT UP, THE SUB-BASS IS REALLY NICE!!

@FlamezBond

Connecticut

"Connecticut, ain't too many real niggas reppin it" - @Lava330 on Twitter, Empire

Where do I begin? First and foremost, I'm from Connecticut, the 203. Its not that bad out here even though there has been 3 or 4 murders in the past 2 weeks. One of the last murders wasn't my friend but he was a friend of my peers and his girl lived two houses down from me and he got murdered on her porch 4am last Saturday. Dont be misconstrued, its real out here in CT. & RIP to the homie too.
CT is one of the richest states in America if you didn't know by now. Which also means we pay a lot of damn taxes and the cost of living is ridiculous. The closer you live to NYC and Greenwich, the more expensive it is. I live in Fairfield County which is extremely close to the city and is in the same county as Greenwich. People sleep on Connecticut though. What they dont know is you gotta be rich just to be poor here. Think about that for a second. It may explain some or a lot of the shit that goes on around here.
I was born in Bridgeport but spent most of my teenage years in Stratford once my mother passed. We'll get into that some other time. But the bottomline is that I been struggling, trying to make something out of nothing. I've been seeing progress as of late but nothing too significant quite frankly. So now I'm trying to make something happen in the very near future. I'm almost 25 so the way I see it, I'm running out of time and there is a serious sense of urgency for me.
What I want to do is bring or help bring the true essence of Hip-Hop back and honestly, it can be found in here in Connecticut. As far as Hip-Hop goes, CT always got slept on. Its part of the tri-state but it dont always seem like it. NY is the Mecca of Hip-Hop and we all know that. Jersey has shined for a while, a lot of great talent has came out of there. But what about CT? There's a lot of fucking talent out here and I'm not just speaking about myself but once again, we get slept on and overlooked. Thats why most people pursuing music move to NY or the ATL because the exposure in those two places are bonkers. Quite frankly, I'd rather stay in CT and help bring it to the forefront.
That's why I go hard with my team. Shoutout to Q.K. & Empire. That's who took me in and put me on when I came to Strat-City. They was already ill and they brought me among them and with their influence, I created my own style and approach to my music while keeping the same brand of nice that they started with.
I like to network because its important and its useful so I associate with a lot of other artists and groups in CT like Royalty Records, Next Best Thing ENT, KoldWorld ENT, Connecticut Crime Family (CCF), C4 Productions and alot of others so if I didn't mention you or your team, dont get all sensitive & shit. If you my peoples and you know you my peoples, that's all that should matter right?
Yeah so, I'm about to wrap this up. I think I can get used this blogging shit because the people who know me know that I dont talk a lot. But surprisingly I have a lot to say and I think this is the proper forum for that. So im off this until I find another topic worthy of me writing about.

Dont forget to check me out on Twitter @Flamezbond as well as @Lava330. You wont regret it.

Yeah

These are some pics from the weekend. Not hard to tell what went on here if you can read between lines. Me and my boy @BossRegis was chillin with some cool ass white folks and it was a good night pretty much, which was nice. They played beer pong but it wasn't really beer pong because they used mixed drinks. But they did use the beer pong concept, if you will. I did not participate even though I participated in drinking. I made some beats that night and then I beat that night (yes, pun intended).

And yes, that is a cross-blunt. Which I did not construct (just to be clear).

Day 1

I am officially a blogger now. Well I will be once I submit this shit lol. But all jokes aside, I know nothing about blogging and its going to be a new experience but there's a lot of shit I cant share with the people who think they know me best so maybe, I can find some release therapy here.
Here's a little about me. I'm in my mid 20's, I love music in general, I am a producer, I make hot beats & I write for others as well as myself. Now, that's not all folks but eventually we will get around to more shit about me. No need to rush.
So as I alluded to before, I am a newbie so bear with me. My blog will be similar to my twitter but more in depth, detailed and elaborate. So there will be randomness, seriousness, a lot of cleverness and sarcasm along the way on topics about life, money, music, family, spirituality, sex, women, vagina, breasts and whatever else I may be passionate about.

So please, bear with me. I will try my best to keep typos and grammatical errors to a minimum. And follow me @FlamezBond!! If you're somewhat interesting, I may follow back
